We linked our robot trading system to Metatrader in the last video, and I had already linked an account to Roboforex. That’s the broker I often choose. However, there was an issue with the demo account’s recognition. As a result, we are currently utilizing an authentic Metaquotes demo account for the first weeks. Here, we have already a few trades that have been executed. I want to change a few settings now. First, a time frame can be selected by right-clicking on the chart. We use an hour in my instance, and I like to use genuine accounts that way. However, you are free to choose any other period. In my opinion, the majority of people’s charts display a time span of one hour. However, since this is a demo account and we want to try something, I’ll choose the one-minute time frame, which should result in fresh open positions in the event that we receive a signal. Let’s adjust that to one minute, and we’re done. Here is where you may turn on or off the trading panel.
I disable it because we really don’t need it, and I also want to make some other adjustments. For instance, now that’s out of the way, I don’t like the grid. Here are additional parameters that you may want to tweak in addition to pressing the f-8 key to change the chart’s colors. If you want to utilize indicators that are shifted into the future, for instance, this chart shift will move the candles to the left. The colors are okay, but I don’t want to see the quick trade buttons. I then click “Ok,” and you can right-click on “Select Templates” to save the chart as your default template when you’re happy with the adjustments. These are a few samples of templates. That’s basically it; I’ll save it and give it the default name. We made a few trades, as you can see if you click on the history page. We’ve adjusted the settings to one minute, so there should be a few more trades today, January 4. Thus, for the time being, the system’s proof of concept is sufficient.
We make a few more tweaks in the upcoming videos, but for now, I’m happy with the outcome. This concludes the video. I appreciate you watching, and I hope to see you in the future one.
